Hi lovelies,
I love being an artist, and I really believe that everyone should draw, and Anyone can DRAW. So, that’s what i’ve named my new workshop ‘Anyone Can DRAW’ which is happening (if you sign up ;)) on Saturday 6th April, 10-1pm.
I often hear people say they wish they could draw, or that they are rubbish at drawing. Well, I believe anyone can with some guidance, so I will be running a workshop at my home.
As my loyal followers I am sharing it here first, before hitting my social media on Friday. There are only 5 places available which makes for a great 1-2-1 setting.
Saturday 6 April 2024
10-1pm, Held at my home in York (Once you have booked on I will email you directions)
ONLY 5 places available
Join me for a workshop focused around developing your drawing skills. You will learn the importance of observation through drawing, and I’ll be sharing some of the techniques that I use for my painting practice to help you elevate your drawings.
We’ll start with a series of quick, playful warm-up exercises.
I’ll go through some drawing tips and techniques that I personally use to help build form, create tone, use expressive lines and how measuring can help.
Studying from an exciting set of still life objects with a Rae George twist (including a Kim Kardashian look-a-like sculpture that I have lovingly named Kim). This workshop is perfect for beginners or those wishing to develop their skills and draw with peers in a relaxed, fun and supportive environment.
Materials and tools are provided, as well as refreshments for a mid morning break.
It promises to be a great way to start your Saturday!
If you have any questions (or i’ve forgotten anything) please email me.
Hope to see you there,
Rae x
